KAILON was founded in 2018 by Marie and Jan — both former platform engineers in enterprise IT. Same observation: external consultants ship slides, then leave. Engineering depth has to happen in repos.

Three simple rules.
We commit
Every engagement day ends in pull requests, architecture sketches, or improved docs — never just slides. If we shipped nothing, we did not work.
We say no
Outside the four disciplines, we say no. To engagements that would tip into body-leasing, we say no. When someone wants slides instead of engineering, we say no.
We leave
Successful close means: the client team carries on without us. We don't extend „a little longer" because handover is hard — handover is part of the contract.
