Three generations.
One quarter.

A Musterort family story in three acts — founded in 1962, handed over in 1994, handed over in 2018. A rare kind of continuity.

In conversation

Helena Musterfrau.

Managing Director, third generation, since 2018. Previously ten years at an international real-estate office in Munich; before that, art history and economics at Musterort and Musterort. She grew up two streets from the Musterstraße.

„I have known the houses we sell since I can remember. That sounds sentimental — until you understand it is exactly the difference between brokering an engagement in four months versus four years."

She took over from her father Friedrich in 2018, who had taken over from his own father Gustav — the founder — in 1994. A classical family handover in three steps.

We are among the last Musterort real-estate offices still in family hands. That is not an end in itself. But it does mean that the person you speak to today will still be here in fifteen years — and remember your house."

Chronicle · 1962 – today

A short history.

The key milestones in 64 years of Höffermann.

1962

Founded by Gustav Höffermann (1924–1998) in a single room on Hartwigstraße. First mandate: a townhouse in Sieveskingallee, brokered to a shipping owner.

1971

Move to Musterstraße 1. The classical townhouse has been our office ever since. The same year, the oak desk still in use today is acquired.

1994

Hand-over to Friedrich Höffermann (b. 1955), the founder's son. Establishment of the off-market list that remains the backbone of the business.

2018

Hand-over to Helena Musterfrau (b. 1972), Friedrich's daughter. Third generation. Friedrich remains as a senior advisor until 2024.

Self-understanding

What we do not do.

Some industries define themselves by their promises. We define ourselves by what we deliberately decline to do.

[I.]

No online valuation tool.

An algorithmic estimate will never assess a Musterort townhouse correctly. A valuation is delivered in person — or not at all.

[II.]

No mass viewings.

„Open house" with twelve buyers at once is a British convention. With us, viewings are individual, by appointment, with sufficient time.

[III.]

No mandate without a meeting.

Before signing a mandate, we want to have seen your table — and you, ours. Whoever has been to the Musterstraße knows whom they are dealing with.
